Opportunity:

RN - ICU Neuro Inpatient

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Neuro Critical Care experience required
• 3 weekend shifts required
• Provide individualized, high-quality, safe patient care as a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team
• Perform the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, identification of outcomes, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence-based practice
• Deliver relationship-based, patient-centered care consistent with population-specific characteristics including age, gender, and disease
• Partner with patients and significant others using appropriate communication methods including bedside shift reports and interdisciplinary rounds
• Coordinate delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care within a professional care delivery model
• Participate in performance improvement activities, research, and shared governance
• Complete all initial and ongoing professional competency assessments and required mandatory education
• Required certifications: RN license (Single State or Multi-State Compact), BLS (AHA or ARC), ACLS (required within 180 days of hire)
• Associate's, Diploma, or Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
• Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service skills required
• Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies in a decisive, composed, and respectful manner
• Excellent time management, critical thinking, and analytical skills required
• Basic computer skills and ability to optimize technology to support clinical care required
