ED Registered Nurse Job in Mount Pleasant, TX

Titus Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Emergency Department. This is a full-time travel position working 3 shifts of 12 hours each, nights from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The assignment runs 91 days, beginning August 24, 2026, with a weekly pay of $1,944.

About the Role

You will provide direct patient care in a 16-bed emergency department that includes 1 trauma bay and 4 fast-track beds. The department handles high volumes of stroke and STEMI patients supported by an on-site 24/7 cath lab, as well as motor vehicle collision traumas, pediatric cases, and a significant psychiatric and geriatric patient population. You will practice independently, delivering routine and complex nursing care while maintaining focus on patient goals and outcomes.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation using the nursing process
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols, monitoring for side effects and therapeutic effectiveness
• Address the complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care delivered
• Assess patient learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers
• Make appropriate care assignments and delegate tasks to other care providers as needed

Requirements

• Current Texas RN license or compact license
• BLS (AHA only), ACLS (AHA only), PALS (AHA only), and TNCC certifications
• One year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred
• Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing preferred
• One professional reference required
