SLP Job in Sweetwater, TX

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) for a long-term care position in Sweetwater, TX. This is a direct-hire temporary role at Avir Health Group, LLC - AVIR at Sweetwater, running for 91 days starting July 13, 2026.

Position Details:

• Schedule: 5 days per week, 8-hour days (no weekends, no on-call)
• Weekly pay: $2,701
• Setting: Long-term care facility

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement treatment plans to improve swallowing, cognitive, and communication abilities in residents
• Create communication treatment plans using evidence-based techniques to help individuals better understand and be understood by others
• Implement strategies to decrease aspiration risks in patients
• Lead, guide, and direct the delivery of speech language pathology and audiology services
• Ensure all services are provided in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations and established policies and procedures
• Provide appropriate, quality care and services to residents

Requirements:

• Active Texas state license required
• Minimum 2 years of SLP experience
