SLP Job in Corpus Christi, TX

You will work as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a 15-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit at Doctors Regional Medical Center in Corpus Christi, TX. This is a day shift position running 5 days per week, 8 hours per day, for 13 weeks beginning June 22, 2026.

Your Role

You will evaluate and treat patients, perform Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) studies, and deliver speech therapy services. You will manage a patient caseload of approximately 5 patients and work with basic lift equipment and therapy equipment. The facility uses Meditech for electronic medical records. You may float to acute care hospital areas as needed and are required to work at least 2 weekend days per month.

Your Team

You will collaborate with a 20-person rehabilitation team that includes 4.5 PT/PTA, 4 OT/COTA, and 0.5 rehab technician staff members.

Requirements

• Hospital experience is required; candidates without prior hospital experience will not be considered
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience is preferred
• CARE scoring experience is preferred
• BLS certification is required

Compensation and Details
