Med Surg RN Job in Mason City, IA

You'll work as a Registered Nurse on the Medical Surgical Orthopedic unit at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City, IA. This is a 90-day travel assignment with a start date of September 21, 2026.

Shift and Schedule

• Night shift: 7:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• Three 12-hour shifts per week
• Every other weekend required

Compensation

• $2,242 per week

About the Role

You will provide direct patient care on a Med Surg Orthopedic unit, supporting patients recovering from orthopedic procedures and managing medical-surgical conditions. Your responsibilities will include medication administration, wound care, patient monitoring, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe, quality outcomes.

What You'll Need

• Current RN license in Iowa
• Experience in medical-surgical or orthopedic nursing preferred
