Special Procedures Technologist Job in Savannah, GA

Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah is seeking a Special Procedures Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment beginning August 3, 2026. You will work four 10-hour shifts per week on days (7:00 AM–5:30 PM) with on-call responsibilities.

Role Overview

You will work in the Angiography/Interventional Radiology unit, which operates three labs including two dedicated IR labs and one Hybrid OR. You will be part of 3–4 person teams, typically staffed with two techs and two RNs, managing a 1:1 patient ratio.

Responsibilities

• Operate specialized equipment including IVUS, Shockwave, Angio Jet, and Jet Stream
• Assist with procedures such as Permcath, Port Placement, Thrombectomy, Atherectomy, TVAR, TIPS, EVAR, PE, Stroke, and Trauma cases
• Manage critical care guideline-directed medical therapy (GTT)
• Document procedures using the EPIC Cupid system

Requirements

• Allied Health Professional credential
• ICU/ER clinical experience required
• Angiography/IR experience, including stroke and trauma care
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications

Compensation & Details

You will earn $2,774 per week. Dress code for technologists is navy blue and black.
