Special Procedures Technologist Job in Savannah, GA

Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah is seeking a Special Procedures Technologist for travel assignment in Interventional Radiology. You will work 4 ten-hour shifts per week with on-call responsibilities, with a start date of August 3, 2026, for a 91-day contract.

Role Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a dedicated Interventional Radiology unit across 3 angiography labs—2 dedicated IR labs and 1 Hybrid OR
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio and collaborate within a 3-4 person team (typically 2 Techs and 2 RNs)
• Operate specialized equipment including IVUS, Shockwave, Angio Jet, and Jet Stream systems
• Assist with procedures including Permcath placement, Port placement, Thrombectomy, Atherectomy, TVAR, TIPS, EVAR, PE management, Stroke intervention, and Trauma cases
• Manage critical care GTT cases and document procedures using the EPIC Cupid system

Requirements

• Allied Health Professional credential
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Demonstrated critical care GTT management experience
• Angiography/IR experience with proven competency in stroke and trauma care
• Prior ICU or Emergency Room experience required

Schedule and Compensation

You will work a day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM across four 10-hour days per week, with on-call duties. Weekly pay is $2,980. Dress code for technologists is navy blue and black.
