Technologist - Interventional Radiology (IR)

Job Details:

• Perform scrub, circulate, and monitor duties in an interventional radiology setting
• Support approximately 25 cases per day involving vascular procedures
• On-call schedule every 3rd evening and every 3rd weekend (Friday 7:00 PM through Monday 7:00 AM)
• Required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming Summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)
• Minimum 12 months of vascular procedure experience in a hospital or medical center setting required
• Scrub, circulate, and monitor experience required
• Cardiac Cath Lab/CCL experience in a hospital or medical center setting required
• Current or prior experience supporting Operating Room procedures required
• Peripheral vascular experience required
• Level I trauma experience preferred
• Active ARRT (R) certification required
• ARRT (CI or VI) highly preferred
• RCIS/CCI certification is a nice to have
• Iowa Radiology license highly preferred; licensing candidates will be considered
• AHA or ARC BLS certification preferred
• Skills checklist specific to interventional vascular/IR lab/Cardiac Cath discipline required
• Work history must reflect 12 months of current interventional vascular/IR lab/Cardiac Cath experience
• Professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within 24 months preferred
• Valid driver's license required
