CT Technologist Job in Southampton, NY

You will work as a CT Technologist in a dual modality radiology position at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital. This is an 89-day travel assignment beginning August 17, 2026.

Role Overview

You will perform CT scanning and diagnostic radiography across both modalities. Your responsibilities include producing computerized tomographic radiographs of designated anatomical areas as ordered, conducting diagnostic and fluoroscopic examinations, and performing portable and operating room imaging. You will demonstrate proficiency with pediatric immobilization devices while adhering to all safety precautions, prepare and enter written documentation including informed consent and patient charting, and observe sterile and aseptic techniques as required. You will also perform related duties in PACS and assess the physical and special needs of adult and geriatric patients across age groups.

Shift and Schedule

You will work 37.5 guaranteed hours per week across four days. Shift options include 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM for three days per week and either 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM or 12:00 PM to 9:30 PM for one day per week. All shifts include a 30-minute break.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology
• ARRT certification
• NYSDOH License
• BLS (AHA) certification
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Computer literacy and ability to independently select and operate equipment as directed
• Capable of working independently and unsupervised
• Adherence to bio-safety and radiation safety rules and regulations

Compensation

Weekly pay is $2,008 for this 89-day assignment.
