CCU RN Job in Nashville, TN

Opportunity:

RN - ICU/CCU

Job Details:

• Work in a 32-bed Cardiac Care Unit (CCU) with a 2:1 patient ratio
• Must have cardiac experience and strong critical care experience
• Advanced skills required: PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring, IABP, and Impella
• CRRT experience preferred
• Perform procedures including central line insertion, swan insertion, and intubations
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• 4-week scheduling periods with 3-4 weekend shifts required per scheduling period
• Float as needed to other units depending on census
• Documentation system: Meditech
• Equipment used: Hill-Rom beds and Phillips telemetry monitors
• Student nurse externs available as techs and unit secretary available Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM
• Dress code: Galaxy blue, red, or black scrubs; scrub jackets or vests only
• Part of a growing cardiogenic shock program with 12 beds allotted to cardiogenic shock patients
