Radiation Therapist Job in Kansas City, MO

You'll work as a Radiation Therapist at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, MO, delivering specialized oncology treatment to patients. This is a 12-week travel assignment with a straightforward schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, giving you predictable weekends off.

What You'll Do

• Perform VMAT and 3D conformal treatments using advanced equipment
• Handle specialized procedures including SRS (Stereotactic Radiosurgery) and SBRT (Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy)
• Manage emergency oncology cases: SVC syndrome, heterotopic bone complications, whole brain treatment, and spinal cord compression
• Operate Truebeam and iX linear accelerators with OBI imaging (KV, MV, CBCT)
• Document treatments in Mosaiq and Meditech systems
• Work in a no-floating environment focused on your specialty area

What We Need From You

• 4 or more years of radiation therapy experience
• ARRT board certification
• BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification
• Proficiency with OBI imaging protocols
• Truebeam experience preferred
• OSMS (Oncology Scheduling Management System) experience preferred

What You'll Earn

You'll receive $2,336 per week for this assignment. You'll work five 8-hour shifts weekly.

Assignment start: June 8, 2026. Duration: 84 days. Dress code: grey or charcoal grey scrubs. This role does not involve unit rotation—you'll stay focused on oncology radiation therapy throughout your assignment.
