ED - Emergency Room

RN - ER

Job Details:

• 12-hour shifts in a General Emergency Department serving combined adult and pediatric patients
• Every other weekend required (weekends are considered Saturday and Sunday for both night and day shifts)
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• No on-call required
• Float to Hickman as needed
• No block scheduling available
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; travel experience required
• Must have Michigan license in hand - no pending licenses accepted
• Locals within 50-mile radius not accepted
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC
• Epic charting experience required - HARD STOP
• Scrub color: Navy blue
• Free parking available
• Medication system: Pyxis
• Must be proficient with: arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care/management, continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, procedural sedation administration/monitoring, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, triage, and isolation precautions/PPE
• Must be comfortable treating all patient age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• Level II Trauma Center experience preferred
• Must have a teamwork approach and adhere to the facility's call-off policy, which is strictly enforced
• Requested time off exceeding 7 days requires manager approval
