ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• 12-hour shifts with variable scheduling
• Weekend requirement of 3 weekends (Friday through Sunday) per 4-week schedule - may be scheduled for 1, 2, or all 3 days of the weekend
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating required - pediatric ED float possible
• Patient ratios: 1:5-6 on days, 1:4-7 on nights; ratios may reach up to 1:8 during high-volume periods and holidays
• Care for patients across all age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Level I Trauma Center experience required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias required
• Continuous IV sedation and procedural sedation administration experience preferred
• Triage experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), PALS, TNCC, NIH
• ENPC certification preferred
• Michigan nursing license required - compact license not accepted
• Skills include: arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, central line care/management, IV vasopressors, phlebotomy, starting and maintaining IVs, isolation precautions/PPE, and care of ventilated patients
