CVOR Technologist Job in York, PA

WellSpan York Hospital is seeking a CVOR Technologist to join our Surgical Services team. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 12, 2026, offering competitive compensation of $2,250 per week.

Schedule & Expectations

• 3x12-hour day shifts with alternating days off
• On-call requirement: 1–2 call days per week with 30-minute response time
• Weekend coverage every 3rd or 4th weekend (Friday 4:30 PM through Monday 6:00 AM)
• Holiday coverage as needed; expect to work 2 of 3 major holidays with no time off between Christmas and New Year's
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off for the contract duration
• Floating as needed to support surgical services

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience
• Open heart surgery experience
• Level I trauma experience
• EPIC charting experience required
• Current NBSTSA certification (NCCT not accepted) and BLS
• Proficiency in CABG, TAVR, mitral valve replacement, aortic aneurysm repair, endovascular aortic repair, ventricular assist device, and other cardiovascular procedures

Clinical Knowledge

You must demonstrate competency in aseptic technique, radiation safety, sharps safety, and universal protocol (time out) procedures. Understanding of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology specific to surgical interventions is essential.
