Opportunity:

Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

• Schedule includes alternating days off with either a 5x8-hour or 3x12-hour shift format
• On-call requirement of 1-2 call days per week with a 30-minute response time required
• Weekend coverage every 3rd or 4th weekend; weekend is defined as Friday 4:30 PM through Monday 6:00 AM
• Holiday coverage as needed; expected to work 2 of 3 major holidays with no RTO between Christmas and New Year's
• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off per contract
• Floating as needed
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required
• Open heart experience required
• Level I trauma experience required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Required certifications: NBSTSA (NCCT not accepted), BLS
• Must be proficient in skills including CABG, TAVR, mitral valve replacement, aortic aneurysm repair, endovascular aortic repair, ventricular assist device, and other cardiovascular procedures
• Aseptic technique, radiation safety, sharps safety, and universal protocol (time out) procedure knowledge required
• Tobacco and fragrance-free facility; travelers must adhere to this policy
• Manager interview required prior to placement
