Opportunity:

Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

• Alternating days off schedule with either a 5x8-hour or 3x12-hour schedule depending on candidate capability
• On-call requirement of 1-2 call days per week with a 30-minute response time required
• Weekend coverage every 3rd or 4th weekend; weekend defined as Friday 4:30 PM through Monday 6:00 AM
• Holiday coverage required as needed; expected to work 2 of 3 major holidays; no RTO between Christmas and New Year's
• Maximum of 7 days RTO per contract
• Floating required as needed
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required
• Level I trauma experience required
• EPIC experience required
• Required certifications: NBSTSA (NCCT not accepted), BLS
• Must be proficient in skills including CABG, mitral valve replacement, TAVR, VAD, EVAR, aortic aneurysm repair, atrial septal defect repair, laparoscopic cardiac surgery, angioplasty/stenting, atherectomy, pericardial window, and aseptic technique
• Additional skills required: electrosurgical units, radiation safety, sharps safety, specimen handling/labeling, isolation precautions/PPE, universal protocol, and pressure ulcer prevention
• Patient population consists of adults
• Manager interview required
• Tobacco and fragrance free facility
