CVOR Technologist Job in Pittsburgh, PA

Allegheny General Hospital is seeking a CVOR Technologist for a 92-day travel assignment beginning June 1, 2026. You will work 4x10 night shifts with a weekly salary of $2,736.

Position Overview

You will support cardiothoracic surgical procedures in a Level 1 Trauma facility. This role focuses on technical support during cardiac and vascular surgeries, including advanced procedures such as LVAD management and heart transplants. You are not required to scrub, allowing you to concentrate on instrumentation and equipment preparation.

Requirements

• Current Allied Health Professional credential as a Surgical Technologist
• Minimum 2 years of surgical tech experience
• Documented Level 1 Trauma experience
• Hands-on experience with general, orthopedic, neurology, vascular, and trauma surgeries
• Familiarity with cardiac robotics and advanced cardiac devices
• Recent travel healthcare experience preferred

Schedule and Expectations

You will work rotating shifts including days, evenings, and nights on 10-hour schedules. Forty hours per week are guaranteed except during your orientation week. Call and weekend responsibilities are required with a 30-minute response time. Time off requests cannot be added or altered once your offer is accepted.
