Job Details:

• 1st shift position working 4x10-hour shifts per week
• Call requirement includes 1-2 nights of weekday call per week, 2 Fridays, and 2 weekends (Saturday/Sunday) per 8-week schedule period
• Perform cardiovascular, endovascular, and neurovascular imaging and interventional procedures
• Demonstrate competency with IABP/Impella devices
• Perform hemodynamic monitoring
• Perform arterial/venous sheath removals and/or closure devices
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Assist physicians during implantation of permanent pacemakers and ICDs
• Maintain and apply aseptic technique
• Competency required with interventional procedures including thrombectomy, stenting, angioplasty, IVUS, OCT, FFR, and structural heart procedures
• Manage complications including air emboli, stroke, anaphylaxis reactions, and cardiac tamponade
• Assume responsibility for physical and psychological needs of patients during procedures
• Practice radiation safety and utilize ALARA (As Low as Reasonably Achievable) principles for all exams
• Perform and record quality control checks
• Apply principles of radiation safety to patients, co-workers, and self
• Use all equipment safely and in accordance with established standards
• Maintain confidentiality of all patient information at all times
• Maintain professional composure and confidence during stressful situations
