Cath Lab Technologist Lead Job in Lexington, KY

You will work as a Cath Lab Technologist in a lead capacity at Baptist Healthcare System, Inc. in Lexington, Kentucky. This position offers you the opportunity to provide and coordinate healthcare services in the Cardiac Cath Lab with limited supervision, exercising professional judgment in your duties and adjusting staffing roles as clinical needs demand.

Your Responsibilities:

• Work 5x8 night shifts with call requirements
• Recognize various patient conditions and provide appropriate patient care to ensure successful exam completion
• Plan and execute daily patient flow, coordinating patients, staff, and physicians
• Maintain a professional working environment and adhere to all hospital policies and guidelines
• Assist with interviews and onboarding of new staff members
• Actively participate in training new employees on equipment functionality and procedures
• Recommend and participate in corrective and disciplinary actions as needed
• Maintain cohesive working relationships with coworkers, other departments, and physicians
• Assist Director and Manager with staff selection, training, and competency development
• Proactively manage employee relations and seek guidance when necessary
• Keep Director and Manager informed of any departmental issues
