PCU Registered Nurse Job in Columbia, SC

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position at MUSC Health Columbia Medical Center Downtown in Columbia, SC. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 26, 2026.

Position Details

• Schedule: 3 x 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Rotating weekend schedule required
• Holidays required as needed
• No on-call
• Patient ratio: 1:5
• Weekly pay: $1,897

Role Overview

You will provide direct care to adult and geriatric patients on the Progressive Care Unit with continuous telemetry monitoring. Patients arrive from the Emergency Department, Cath Lab, Operating Room, or are transferred from ICU or Medical Surgical Units. You may be required to float between Downtown and Northeast campuses based on census and staffing needs; patient ratio will adjust to the unit floated to.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Telemetry and IV start skills
• Blood product administration
• Central line care and management
• Heparin protocols
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Pre- and post-cardiac catheterization care
• Peripheral line care

Credentials and Licensing

• SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license required (pending licenses not accepted)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association only)

• Charting system: Epic
• Scrub color: Royal Blue
• Block scheduling available upon manager approval based on unit needs
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
