Pharmacist Job in Redding, CA

Mercy Medical Center Redding is seeking an experienced Pharmacist for a travel assignment. This is a 91-day position starting October 26, 2026, offering competitive weekly compensation of $2,823.

Role Overview

You will work a 4x10 rotating schedule with varied start times of 5:00 AM, 7:30 AM, and 10:00 AM. Day, evening, and night shifts are available. Every other weekend and holiday shifts are required. You will have no floating between units and will receive floor-specific orientation.

Facility Details

Mercy Medical Center Redding operates 267 inpatient and 100 outpatient beds. You will utilize the Cerner EMR system and Omnicell dispensing cabinets. A technician-to-pharmacist ratio of 2:1 is maintained per California law.

Patient Population and Specialties

You will treat patients across NICU, pediatrics, adult, geriatric, and oncology populations. Sterile compounding experience is desired, as is experience in oncology infusion centers.

Requirements

• Valid California Pharmacist license
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Professional white coat required
• No new graduates will be considered

Preferred Qualifications

• Pharmacy residency and/or BCPS certification desired
• Sterile compounding experience
• Experience in oncology infusion centers
