PCU Nurse Job in Tucson, AZ

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an RN for a 89-day travel assignment in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at BUMC Tucson, located at 1625 N Campbell Ave. You'll work three 12-hour night shifts per week at $2,582.10 weekly, with a start date of August 3, 2026.

About the Role

You will provide direct patient care in a Level I Trauma center environment, assessing patients' physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs. You'll formulate and implement individualized plans of care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, coordinate care activities, and delegate responsibilities to the healthcare team. Documentation of assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation must be accurate and timely.

Assignment Details

This position involves a varied work schedule with potential to float throughout two campuses to provide support where needed. The second campus location is approximately a 10-minute drive from the primary facility. You may be floated to other Adult Health units including Observation, Med Surg, PCU, and IMC. On occasion, you may float to the Emergency Department (ED) or PACU to care for Adult Health patients with inpatient orders awaiting a bed.

Requirements

• Current, valid RN license in Arizona
• Minimum one year of acute care hospital experience required
• Experience in specialty area (PCU or related adult acute care) within the past 12 months
• Level I Trauma and large hospital experience required
• BLS certification
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
