MRI Technologist Job in Rochester, NY

URMC Strong Memorial Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist for overnight shifts in Rochester, New York. This is a 96-week travel assignment starting October 5, 2026.

Position Details

• Shift: Sunday through Thursday, 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM (8 hours)
• Weekly pay: $1,965
• On-call and callback requirements per unit needs
• Holiday shifts required

Your Responsibilities

• Operate MRI machines efficiently and prepare patients for scanning procedures
• Insert IVs when necessary for testing
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging and ensure timely delivery of results
• Document all procedures while maintaining patient confidentiality
• Demonstrate proficiency with medical terminology
• Maintain physical stamina for extended standing periods

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience
• GE scanner experience required
• Injection certification required
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
• ARRT certification required
• BLS certification through American Heart Association required
• New York State Radiology Tech license required

This role is at a Level 1 Trauma Center, providing you with experience in a high-acuity setting. You will work as an Allied Health Professional supporting critical diagnostic imaging services.
