PCU Registered Nurse Job in Cleveland, OH

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Pediatric Stepdown (PCU) unit at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus. This role focuses on progressive care for patients up to 25 years old, combining medical-surgical nursing with intermediate-level monitoring and intervention.

Position Details:

• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, rotating day and night (7:00 AM–7:30 PM and 7:00 PM–7:30 AM)
• Shifts may rotate based on unit operational needs; the facility will make efforts to honor your preferred shift but reserves the right to adjust as necessary
• You must work at least every other holiday
• Assignment duration: 91 days
• Start date: December 4, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,556

Clinical Requirements:

• Minimum 12 months permanent experience in pediatric stepdown or similar specialty
• Epilepsy monitoring experience required
• EKG rhythm recognition and inotrope experience required
• NIHSS certification preferred

Credentials and Certifications:

• Current permanent Ohio license or compact state license (must be active at time of submission)
• AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation; acceptable scores required with maximum 2 attempts to pass
