Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job in Houston, TX

You will work as an RN in a 3-procedure room Cardiac Cath Lab at HCA Houston West. This is a 13-week travel position with a start date of September 14, 2026.

Shift and Schedule

• 4x10 day shift: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• One full weekend plus two weekdays per four-week cycle
• Weekly pay: $2,461

Team and Patient Care

• Day shift staffing: 1 supervisor, 3 RNs, and 2 Cath Lab Techs
• Team-based patient ratio: 3 staff members per procedure
• Work alongside experienced RNs and Cath Lab Techs

Procedures and Equipment

• Left and right heart catheterizations
• Pacemaker and ICD placements
• Watchman procedures
• Interventional radiology (IR) cases
• Vascular procedures
• Electrophysiology (EP) ablations, including pulsed field ablation (PFA)
• Philips and Siemens fluoroscopy equipment
• MERGE Hemo Cath Lab documentation system and Meditech Expanse EMR

Responsibilities

• Support cardiac catheterization procedures in a team environment
• Follow universal precautions, timeout procedures, and moderate sedation guidelines
• May be required to float to Pre/Post Cath Department as needed
• Wear hospital-provided sky blue scrubs

Requirements

• Current RN license
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Electrophysiology experience preferred
• Team player mentality and flexibility
