CT Technologist Job in Columbia, SC

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is recruiting a CT Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment at MUSC Health Emergency and Urgent Care Garners Ferry in Columbia, SC. You will work 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Friday through Sunday, with no on-call requirements.

Role and Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X-ray imaging as a Multimodality Technologist, with potential duties supporting ED/UC operations
• Execute a broad range of CT procedures: abdomen, chest, head, pelvis, soft tissue neck, sinuses, cervical, lumbar, thoracic, and musculoskeletal trauma imaging
• Conduct vascular chest imaging including pulmonary embolism, CTA, and aorta studies
• Perform 3D rendering techniques (maximum intensity projection, surface shaded displays, volume rendering) and multiplanar reconstruction (MPR)
• Measure regions of interest (ROI) and prepare/administer contrast media
• Start peripheral IVs and perform venipuncture
• Apply and maintain radiation safety protocols and isolation precautions
• Serve patients across age groups: adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

Equipment and Systems

You will work with Siemens imaging equipment and chart using Epic.

Requirements

• Allied Health Professional degree (CT Technologist)
• Minimum 1 year of imaging experience
• Current BLS certification
• ARRT (CT) certification
• ARRT (R) certification
• SCRQSA (CT) (R) certification
• Weekend availability (Friday–Sunday schedule)

Assignment Details

Start date: August 31, 2026. Weekly pay: $2,336. Radiation badge will be provided by the agency. Facility may call off 1 shift per 2-week period. First-time travelers are welcome. Wear black and teal scrubs.
