Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• 3x12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend required with holiday rotation
• 26-week contract required - no 13-week option available
• 1:6 patient ratios for days, nights, and weekends
• Primary patient population is Med/Surg adults and geriatrics
• Will be required to work Charge RN shifts as needed
• Float required as needed across all facilities
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Previous Charge RN experience required
• Travel experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam during onboarding (2 attempts allowed)
• Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS
• Skills required include: blood product administration, heparin, insulin, PCA, peripheral line care and management, starting and maintaining IVs, nasal cannula, isolation precautions/PPE, use of rapid response/code teams, and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Additional skills include: BiPAP/CPAP management, colostomy/ileostomy management, feeding tube care and management, IV insulin protocols, oral suctioning, PICC line management, surgical drains, and wound care/wound vac
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation
