Opportunity:

CSFA - First Assist OR

Job Details:

• Day shift schedule
• On-call requirements: 1 day per week and 1 weekend every 4 weeks (subject to change based on departmental needs)
• Weekend coverage only required during call periods
• Floating within facility/scope of practice and to Main OR as needed
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Must have minimum 2 years of experience (unit accepts first-time travelers)
• HARD STOP requirements: Cardiac, Vascular, Endovascular, and Thoracic experience
• Required certifications: BLS, CSFA (NBSTSA or NCCSA also accepted)
• Must complete privileging process prior to start (approximately 120 days from signature)
• $125 pre-application fee required for privileging
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Must be available to submit core items and complete/schedule labs within 48 hours of contract signing
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed (no holiday RTO accepted)
• Full compliance required to start on time
• Extensive surgical skills required including cardiac procedures, vascular surgeries, endovascular repairs, thoracic procedures, and various other surgical specialties
• Heart transplant experience highly preferred
• Must serve adult and geriatric patient populations
