CVOR First Assist

Opportunity:

CSFA - First Assist OR

Job Details:

• Day shift schedule
• Call required 1 day per week and 1 weekend every 4 weeks, subject to change based on departmental needs
• Weekends only required during call
• Floating within facility/scope of practice and to Main OR as needed
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Hard stop requirements: Cardiac, Vascular, Endovascular, and Thoracic experience required
• Heart Transplant experience highly preferred
• Required certifications: BLS and CSFA (NBSTSA or NCCSA also accepted)
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Community Hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
• Patient age groups served: Adults and Geriatrics
• No self-scheduling; block schedules not honored
• Travel pairs not accepted
• Pre-approved time off: one request permitted
• All RTO must be finalized at time of submission; no RTO or schedule requests accepted post-offer or onsite
• Skilled procedures include but are not limited to: Cardiac, Vascular, Endovascular, Thoracic, CABG, CVOR, TAVR, TEVAR, EVAR, Heart Transplant, VAD, VATS, Carotid Endarterectomy, Craniotomy, Spinal Fusion, Total Hip and Knee Replacement, and various laparoscopic and endoscopic procedures
