ED RN Job in Tacoma, WA

St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma, WA is seeking an RN for a 91-day travel assignment in the Emergency Room. You will work 3 shifts per week on the night schedule, 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with every-other-weekend requirements and occasional holiday coverage.

Role Details

• Patient ratio of 3–4:1
• Primary assignment at St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma with potential float to St. Clare Hospital (Lakewood, WA) and St. Elizabeth Hospital (Enumclaw, WA)
• Care for emergency patients including stroke, STEMI, trauma, and acute coronary syndrome cases
• Perform lab draws and manage ventilator-dependent patients
• Unit features 33 beds with 2 trauma bays and 5 psych/seclusion rooms; handles 125–140 patients daily

Requirements

• Active RN license
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC
• Ventilator experience required
• At least one completed previous travel assignment
• Comfortable with Epic EMR charting
• Navy blue scrubs (top and bottom)

• Weekly pay: $2,546.64
• One day of floor-specific orientation included
• BSN not required
