Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Neuro/Trauma

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend and holiday shifts required
• Travel RN may be required to float to other units
• Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies, procedures, standards of care, and state laws
• Document according to standards of care
• Develop, initiate, and execute individualized patient plans of care as prescribed by physician and/or hospital policy, including patient and family instruction
• Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities, including shared governance
• Provide clinical expertise and guidance to other units and departments in support of the patient's longitudinal plan of care
• Utilize critical thinking in regards to patient safety and patient experience, escalating appropriately through the chain of command
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Current Wisconsin nursing license required
• Required certifications: NIHSS and CPR/BLS
• Education verification required
