Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• 4x12 night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM (3x12 schedule will also be considered)
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call required
• Patient ratios of 1:6-1:7
• May be required to float within scope to meet facility needs
• 2 years of Med/Surg experience required
• Travel experience required - first-time travelers will not be considered
• SC license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Preferred experience: Telemetry, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and management of dysrhythmias
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Charting system: Epic
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Block schedule may be requested prior to assignment but is not guaranteed
• All required modules must be completed prior to start date
• Attendance at staff meetings is required
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses including CHF, COPD, CVA, diabetes, sepsis, pneumonia, dysrhythmia, post-surgical care, wound care, and more
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and radiology
