Job Details:

• Day shift position working 3x12 hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• Friday through Sunday schedule
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week assignment
• Call requirements: any day scheduled, averaging around 5 or fewer calls per 8 weeks
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Assist vascular surgeon in OR and Hybrid Imaging suite
• Work with a team of nurses and surgical techs for endoscopic and open cases
• Provide direct patient care activities for all age groups including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments
• Operate various equipment including DaVinci robotic surgical system
• Document using EPIC EMR system
• Float as required by facility
• Weekend hours as required by facility
• 2 years of Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience required (teaching hospital experience will be considered)
• Scrub and OR circulator experience required
• Minimum 1 year of interventional vascular experience required
• Must be competent in conscious sedation
• Required certification: BLS from AHA only
• Current RN license required, eligible for or currently licensed in Missouri
• Dress code: Black scrubs; jeans and unprofessional attire are not acceptable
