Med Surg RN Job in Portland, ME

You'll work as an RN on a 26-bed Medical-Surgical Neurology unit at MMC-P Bramhall Campus in Portland, Maine. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 25, 2026.

Schedule & Pay

• 4x12 night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM or 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM)
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call duties
• $2,900 weekly pay

Patient Care

You'll care for neurosurgical and neuro patients across a range of conditions: spinal surgery, spine fractures, brain tumors, seizure disorders, VP shunts, head bleeds, traumatic brain injuries, and joint replacement surgery. Patient ratios are 1:5-6 on nights and 1:4-5 on days.

• Epic EMR system
• Professional appearance required; scrubs in any color accepted
• Float assignments to other units as needed

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Neuro/neurosurgery experience required
• Proactive approach and collaborative team mindset
