Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM
• 32 hours per week guaranteed
• Perform computerized tomography procedures including invasive procedures under the direction of the Radiology Manager and Radiologist
• Operate a Toshiba Aquilon 64 slice scanner and various pieces of specialized equipment
• Position and instruct patients prior to procedures
• Determine technical factors for exposure and ensure correct marking and labeling of all films
• Provide safe, quality patient care consistently
• Must be available to take call as required
• Requires moderate to heavy physical effort including ability to lift 40 pounds from floor to wheelchair or waist level
• Must be able to move 40 pounds six feet, reach overhead holding 25 pounds, and pull 40 pounds from stretcher to bed
• Must be able to push a 150-pound loaded stretcher 300 feet
• Requires good stamina, flexibility, and manual dexterity to operate delicate equipment
• Proficient computer skills required
• Must demonstrate accurate judgment and decision-making ability consistent with radiology knowledge and skills
• Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiology required
• Must be a registered ARRT
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy required
• Minimum 2 years of diagnostic experience preferred
