ICU - Intensive Care Unit

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• 13-week travel assignment starting as soon as possible
• Night shift schedule from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM
• Floating required to ER and Med Surg departments
• No on-call required
• 48 guaranteed hours are NOT approved
• Holidays required
• Blocked scheduling may be accommodated and must be included in the body of submittal
• Unit has 12 beds with a patient ratio of 1:2-3
• Provide total patient care in ICU including ventilator management, titratable drips, medication mixing, and hygiene care
• When floating to ER, assist with call lights, medication passing, patient transport, IV starts, and blood draws (no full patient assignment)
• When floating to Med Surg, take full patient assignment of up to 6 patients or act as aide for up to 12 patients
• 2+ years of ICU experience required
• ER and Med Surg experience preferred
• Experience with vents, titratable drips, mixing medications, and patient hygiene preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• TNCC preferred
• EMR system: MedHost
