Job Details:

• 12-hour shifts available on days (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) or nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) on an alternating basis for a 13-week contract
• Every other weekend requirement
• Must be available to work every other holiday, if needed
• Patient ratio of 1:5 caring for adults and geriatric patients with all emergency type diagnoses
• Floating within skillset required
• Scrub color: Any combination of navy blue and white
• EPIC charting experience is required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Candidates must be located more than 75 miles from the facility
• Active New York single state RN license required (NY is not Compact); must be in hand at time of submission
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC
• Required clinical skills include: IV therapy including blood product administration, central line care, phlebotomy, and starting/maintaining IVs; IV vasopressors; CPAP/BiPAP; ventilator management; cardiac monitoring including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias; CVA/stroke, neuro-trauma, spinal cord injury, and TBI; emergency care for adult and pediatric patients including gunshot wounds and ortho trauma; triage; and isolation precautions
• Special equipment includes: Bair hugger, rapid infuser, and safe patient handling equipment
• Pre-approved time off requests must be submitted upon submission; maximum of 10 days of RTO accepted
