RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM with a 30-minute lunch break
• Acute care float position with unit assignments made by nursing supervisor at time of staffing
• Float coverage includes the following units: Medical Comfort Care, Surgery and GI, Trauma, Medical, Observation, Oncology, Medical Nephrology, Ortho, Joint Replacement/Ortho, Neuro, Vascular, Pulmonary, Cardiac Surgery, and Cardiac
• Patient ratios vary according to need but are typically 1:6
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call required
• Block scheduling is not available
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a comparable acuity hospital required
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Must have an active unencumbered Tennessee or multi-state RN license in hand at time of submittal
• Required certification: BLS
• Must have prior Cerner EMR experience
• Scrubs must be Royal Blue
