Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• 3x12 night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required, with holidays as needed
• RRT or CRT accepted with Maryland license required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Adult Critical Care, Emergency Department, and Transport experience required
• Must have completed at least 1 travel assignment prior to consideration
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Scrub color: Black
• Charting system: Cerner
• Community hospital experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Provide respiratory care services for patient age groups including neonates, adults, and geriatrics
• Perform aerosol treatments, BiPAP/CPAP management, mechanical ventilation, and weaning protocols
• Conduct arterial blood gas collection and interpretation
• Assist with intubation, extubation, and tracheostomy care and management
• Manage high-flow nasal cannula, ET tubes, T-piece, and trach collar setups
• Administer respiratory medications including Albuterol, Atrovent, Combivent, Pulmicort, and others
• Perform chest physiotherapy, oral/nasal suctioning, and sputum specimen collection
• Support patient transports and troubleshoot high pressure alarms on ventilators
