Cath Lab Technologist

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• 10-hour day shifts
• Caseload ratio of 8-12 patients
• On-call required with 15 shifts per month
• Weekend call required - 1 full weekend per month
• STEMI Call team must respond within 30 minutes of activation
• 2-hour call back is guaranteed
• Block schedule not available
• No floating between like units
• Perform elective caths including diagnostic and interventional procedures, right heart catheterization, STEMI, IABP, and pacemaker insertions
• Must be able to work in both Cath Lab and IR (hard stop requirement)
• Strong cath lab experience required
• Neuro intervention experience preferred
• Minimum 3 years of experience required
• Trauma Level I experience required
• Treat adult and geriatric patient populations
• Charting systems: Cerner and McKesson
• Scrubs provided
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT, RCIS (with IR experience)
• Maryland or Compact license required
• Required skills: Angioplasty, Cardiac Stent Placement, Insertion/Programming of AICDs, Pacemaker Insertion, Scrub/sterile field maintenance, Temporary Pacemaker
• Two supervisor references required
• Must be nicotine-free - facility tests for nicotine and cotinine
