Cath Lab Technologist Job in Lafayette, IN

You will work as a Cath Lab Technologist at Franciscan Health Lafayette, supporting cardiac interventional procedures in a specialized cardiac catheterization laboratory. This is a travel position offering flexibility in scheduling and the opportunity to develop expertise in a focused clinical setting.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide technical support during cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures
• Operate and maintain Philips Allura, Axurion, and Philips Xper imaging equipment
• Monitor patients during procedures and assist the interventional cardiology team
• Manage patient flow and maintain sterile technique in the lab environment
• Document procedures and patient information in the EPIC electronic medical record system
• Participate in on-call coverage for evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays

Work Schedule and Compensation

• 4x10 day shifts, Monday through Friday, between 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekly pay: $2,717
• Assignment duration: 91 days
• Start date: November 30, 2026

Facility and Team Environment

• Facility features 2 Coronary Suites and 1 Electrophysiology Suite
• Patient ratio of 1:3–4 per technologist
• No float requirements; dedicated assignment to the Cath Lab
• Hospital-issued scrubs provided

Qualifications and Requirements

• Allied Health Professional credential
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience
• Strong technical skills in cardiac catheterization procedures
• Electrophysiology (EP) training preferred
• Current ACLS certification required
• Team-focused and self-motivated approach to patient care
