Cath Lab Technologist Job in Carmel, IN

IU Health North Hospital is seeking an Allied Health Professional Cath Lab Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment in Carmel, Indiana. You will work a 4x10 day shift schedule with call requirements of minimum 2 days per week and every 3rd weekend.

About the Role

You will support cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures, demonstrating proficiency in circulating and conscious sedation. Your responsibilities include hemodynamic monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, sterile technique, scrub procedures, angiography, stent placement, and EKG lead placement. You will assist with percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), IABP placement and removal, thrombolysis and thrombectomy procedures, and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias.

Cardiac Procedures

You will participate in left and right heart catheterization, balloon pumps, temporary and permanent pacer/defibrillator placements, pericardial effusion management, and STEMI calls.

Interventional Radiology Procedures

Experience is required with venous access, drain placement, GI tube insertion, PE and DVT interventions, TIPS, peripheral vascular work, fistula procedures, uterine fibroid embolizations (UFEs), prostate embolizations, and management of GI, post-partum, and other internal bleeds.

Required Equipment Experience

You must be proficient with Acist injector, Siemens C-arm, Philips C-arm, Medrad power injector, Rotopro, Diamondback, IVUS, OCT, Shock wave, Rampart, Pneumbra, and Inari equipment.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of cath lab experience; first-time travelers not accepted
• Travel experience required
• Current ACLS, ARRT R, and BLS certifications
• Cerner charting system preferred
• Ability to serve patient age groups from adolescents through geriatrics
• Willingness to float within the hospital or to affiliate facilities
• Previous charge experience preferred

Weekly pay is $3,256. Assignment begins October 19, 2026.
