Telemetry RN Job in Des Moines, IA

MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 6-month travel assignment in our Telemetry resource pool. You'll work 12.5-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM on a three-days-per-week schedule with every-other-weekend and every-other-holiday rotations.

As a resource pool nurse, you'll float across multiple med-surg units to support patient care where needed most. You may be assigned to the following areas:

• Med-Surg Telemetry units
• Orthopedic floors
• General Med-Surg floors
• Neurology Step Down
• Oncology units
• Surgical Telemetry

You should be prepared to work at both the main downtown facility and the West Lakes Campus, located 9.5 miles away. A 24-hour need-based orientation is waived, so you'll be expected to hit the ground running with strong critical thinking and adaptability skills.
