PCU - Progressive Care Unit

RN - IMC

Job Details:

• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 48 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week assignment
• Float to all inpatient units as needed, including IMC and CTU units
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours, which can be taken in hourly increments as needed; unit will typically low census in 4-hour increments
• 8-bed observation unit with a patient ratio of 1:4
• Care for patients with conditions including anemia, cellulitis, COPD, dehydration, pre and post-op urology and GI cases, with high volume of admissions and discharges
• Administer drips including Cardizem, Nitroglycerin, Insulin, and Heparin
• Ability to read and interpret EKG strips required; EKG exam required during compliance
• Minimum 3 years of experience required
• 1 prior travel assignment required
• Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS, ACLS (AHA or ARC); NIHSS highly preferred
• EPIC charting experience required
• Associate Degree or Certificate required
