Operating Room RN Job in Petoskey, MI

McLaren Northern Michigan is seeking a Registered Nurse for Operating Room coverage. This is a temporary assignment with a start date of August 24, 2026, running for 91 days.

Position Details

• Specialty: Operating Room (OR)
• Shift: 4x10 Days (days shift)
• Weekly Pay: $2,505.60
• Location: Petoskey, Michigan

Requirements

• Current RN license in Michigan, verified through LARA and Nursys
• Minimum 2+ years of RN OR experience
• BLS certification (AHA)
• Skills checklist completion required within one year of application

Preferred Experience

Ortho, General, Endo-Vascular, Urology, and OB experience is preferred.

Schedule and Expectations

• Days shift, 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts
• One weeknight on-call per week: 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM (Monday through Thursday)
• One weekend on-call per month, rotating Friday, Saturday, or Sunday nights (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) and Saturday or Sunday days (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM)
• Non-consecutive work days with a random weekday off
• Holidays assigned unless contracted off

Attendance Policy

A strict attendance policy is in effect. Three instances of absence or arriving more than 20 minutes late to a scheduled shift will result in immediate termination.
