PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care

RN - PICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend schedule required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Holiday expectations: 1 major, 1 minor holiday
• First to float when needed
• Must have 2-5 years of Pediatric Cardiac ICU experience
• Must have experience with invasive hemodynamic monitoring, ventilators, and inotropes
• Preferred experience with management of post-operative complex congenital cardiac patients
• Preferred experience with ECMO, CRRT, Berlin Hearts, and Heartmate III
• Required to titrate drips
• Work with respiratory therapy equipment including vents, trachs, Cervos, LTVs, high frequency, and occasional home vents
• Care for patients with complex congenital cardiac disease, heart failure, myocarditis, cardiomyopathy, post-operative congenital cardiac conditions, Berlin Hearts, and Heartmate III
• Unit consists of 8-12 beds
• Self-scheduling available
• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs with colorful tops permitted
• 2-3 days of unit orientation required
• Required certifications: BLS, PALS
• Epic access required
