ED Registered Nurse Job in Waukesha, WI

Join ProHealth Waukesha Memorial Hospital as a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department. This is a 13-week contract position offering the opportunity to deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.

Position Details:

• 12-hour night shifts, 3 days per week
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Weekly pay: $2,656
• Start date: September 29, 2026

Your Role:

You will work in a 17-bed emergency room unit, providing comprehensive nursing care to diverse patient populations. Weekend rotation requirements include coverage of up to every other weekend, with holiday rotation participation expected. You may be floated to Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital based on census needs. No on-call or callback requirements apply to this position.

Required Qualifications:

• Active Wisconsin RN license or Compact license
• Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Department experience
• EPIC charting experience within the last 12 months (strictly required)
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS certification
• NIHSS Stroke certification
• Associate Degree or Certificate in Nursing; Bachelor's Degree preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 1 completed travel contract
• Strong work ethic and resilience
• Adaptability to change
• Solid social communication skills
