Opportunity:

Cardiovascular Technologist - CVOR Tech

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• May need to work late or come in early depending on case volume and acuity
• 13-week contract with 40 guaranteed hours per week
• On-call requirements include 1 night of call per week, 1 weekend per month, and 1 backup per week with a 30-minute response time (must be ready and in the OR within 30 minutes)
• May occasionally require additional mandated call
• Every 3rd weekend rotation and holiday rotation required
• May be required to float to all Central Aspirus locations if needed
• Minimum 2+ years of CVOR experience required; prior travel experience required
• Cardiac/thoracic experience required; thoracic robot experience preferred
• Efficient in setting up operative suites, reviewing case carts to ensure all supplies are available, and scrubbing surgical cases across a variety of specialties
• Responsible for turning over rooms for multiple procedures throughout the day
• Work alongside 3 cardiothoracic surgeons handling approximately 50-60 cases per month
• Must be willing to complete downtime tasks such as pulling case carts and cleaning
• Must be a hard worker, resilient, adaptable to change, and a social candidate with excellent work ethic
• Facility uses Epic charting
• Required certifications: BLS, CST license required (NBSTSA or NCCT accepted; AHA or ARC certifications required)
• Required education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate Degree or Certificate preferred
• Scrub colors: Any color permitted
• Contract is eligible for 36 hours of unbillable low census hours
