Opportunity:

Cardiovascular Technologist - CVOR Tech

Job Details:

• 8-hour day shifts running from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• May need to work late or come in early depending on case volume and acuity
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract
• On-call requirements include 1 night of call per week, 1 weekend per month, and 1 backup per week with a 30-minute response time (must be ready and in the OR within 30 minutes)
• Additional mandated call may occasionally be required
• Every 3rd weekend rotation and holiday rotation required
• May be required to float to all Central Aspirus locations as needed
• Set up operative suites for patients and verify all supplies are available through case cart review
• Scrub surgical cases across a variety of specialties and turn over rooms for multiple procedures throughout the day
• Support 3 cardiothoracic surgeons with approximately 50-60 cases per month
• Cardiac/thoracic experience required; thoracic robot experience also required
• Perform downtime tasks as needed including pulling case carts and cleaning
• Facility uses Epic charting
• Scrub colors: any color
• Minimum 2+ years of CVOR experience required
• Prior travel experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, CST license (NBSTSA or NCCT accepted); AHA or ARC certifications required
• Required education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate Degree or Certificate preferred
• Must be flexible, motivated, resilient, and able to manage change effectively
