CVOR Technologist Job in Austin, TX

Heart Hospital of Austin is seeking a Certified Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment. You will work 4 shifts per week, 10 hours per shift, from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with on-call responsibilities including 1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend per month on a rotation basis.

About the Role

As a CVOR Technologist, you will assist in a variety of cardiovascular procedures requiring recent, hands-on experience. You must have demonstrated CVOR CST experience; candidates without this background will not be considered. Your responsibilities will include setting up and managing surgical instruments, bovie cautery, EVH video tower, laparoscopic video tower, surgical tourniquet, IABP console, Impella console, cryo system, and patient warming/cooling systems.

Procedures You Will Support

• CABG (Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting)
• Aortic and Mitral Valve Repair and Replacement
• AAA Endovascular and Open repairs
• AV Fistula creation, revision, and thrombectomy
• HDC, CAPD, BBT, TAVR, TMVR, and MitraClip procedures

What We Offer

You will earn $1,868 per week and work in a hospital setting equipped with Meditech EMR. Scrubs are provided on the unit, allowing you to focus on patient care and surgical excellence.
