RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Strong experience with interventional cases (not IR) and STEMI is required
• Experience with EP and TAVR procedures is highly preferred
• Minimum 1.5 years of experience required
• On-call is required with 10-12 call shifts per month, including weekend call
• Perform and assist with a wide range of cardiac procedures including: Impella insertion, Left heart catheterization, Right heart catheterization, Rotablator atherectomy, Pacemaker/defibrillator device placement, Stent placement, Thrombectomy, Balloon Angioplasty, and PCI
• Additional procedures include: Cardiac Ablation, Cardiac Mapping, IABP Placement/Removal, Insertion/Programming of AICDs, TAVR, Carotid Stenting, Renal Artery Stent Placement, Watchman procedure, and Upper and Lower Extremity Angiography
• Scrub and circulate procedures required
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and arrhythmia induction
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
• Daily census of 6-10 patients across 2 rooms
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Floating within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals is required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Siemens X-ray system experience preferred
• Local Indiana residents are accepted
